The barbecues available on the market are of very different kinds, that differ for their shapes and dimensions, but mainly for the source of the heat; you may have electric grills, or models that burn gas, charcoal and wood. In this article we describe the characteristics of the latter: the wood burning BBQ.
The wood burning grill allows for a perfect cooking of food with natural method. On it you can cook everything from meat to fish, going through all kinds of cheese, mushrooms or vegetables.
Entering the store that sells BBQ you can check and compare the different characteristics between a model and another. The variables to consider when choosing a model of barbecue are a few: space available, how many people will cook and, of course, your budget.
Small wood BBQs are the best solution if you're planning to use the grill just every now and then, and you don't have much room to store it. There are very good models made of stainless steel, that can resist for years of use and storage.
On the other hand, if you plan to grill frequently, you plan to have lots of friends to cook for, and you have the necessary space available, a brick BBQ is really great! Apart from its optimal cooking characteristics, it can be a very nice decoration for your garden.
You have to be careful that some models, that are designed to use charcoal only, can be sold as wood barbecue. The problem is that, due to the high temperatures developed by burning wood, the grill may form cracks on the walls, especially if the material they are built is not refractory.
If you bought a brick grill, check that the parts exposed to heat (inner walls and floor of the burning chamber) are made of specific material (refractory stones). For the rest of the structure, decorated cement and expanded clay are good enough.
Even though stainless steel is a material that can resist humidity and heat, always store properly the grill when not in use. Of course, if you installed a brick BBQ, you can cover it during the winter, or use specific protective paint.
In summary, a wood burning grill is a great choice and, even though it can be slightly difficult to manage, when you can master it the results are really better than any other kind of BBQ.

Some people are lucky enough to live in a climate that means their gas grill is in use year-round - but if you're approaching winter and cookouts have come to an end for the year, it's time to think about how best to store your grill.
Quality gas grills are a pleasure to use, but they are also an investment that needs to be protected. There can be quite a few steps to making sure your grill is properly cared for, but take it one step at a time and you'll have everything sorted before you know.
A Is for Assemble
Take about an hour to assemble your supplies. For this step you're going to need your owner's manual, a brass bristle brush, a soft cloth, sandpaper, warm, soapy water and a towel. Now move to the next step...
B Is for Briquettes
Actually B is for briquettes and cooking grids. Briquettes and cooking grids get pretty greasy with use, and you definitely don't want to store greasy equipment. (Yuck.) Turn the briquettes over so the greasy side is up facing the burner. With the cooking grids in their regular place, light the grill and close the lid. Set the flame on "high" and leave everything for 15 minutes while the heat burns the grease off the briquettes and the grids.
After everything has cooled off, remove the briquettes and grids and use the brush and the soapy water to clean off any remaining grease. Rinse, dry, and set them aside while you move on to the next step.
C Is for Clogs
Now it's time to clean the tubes and the burner if they have been clogged by food drippings, as this can short out the igniter flame (something you really don't want). When the grill is being stored, insects and spiders can sometimes take over the gas tubes, so between grease and these insects, your flame could start to become uneven by the next time you use it. This is why it's so important to make sure each part is clean.
First, turn off the gas at the tank if you haven't already. Take care to follow the instructions in your owner's manual and unfasten the burner, slip the gas tubes from the gas lines, and remove the unit. Using the soft cloth and soapy water, clean it out. Clean out the tubes with soapy water, too. Make sure you're thorough and that you don't leave any dirt or grease behind. Dry the unit and then use toothpicks to clean out the gas ports. Now set everything aside.
D Is for Damage
This means preventing damage. Before you get started, cover the gas orifices of the grill with aluminum foil to keep water out. You're now going to clean the housing of the grill, which will help to prevent corrosion and the build up of grease. Use the brush and soapy water to clean the housing inside and out, rinse it and then remove the foil.
Now it's time to check for chipped paint and any other damage. Although most grills are designed not to rust, moisture can get into chipped areas easier causing the grill to get weaker. When your grill is cool and dry you'll want to sand down any damaged areas before using primer and high heat paint to touch them up again.
E Is for Everything
Put everything -- burner, gas tubes, igniter -- back together.
F Is for Fuel
Now check the fuel supply to make sure that the propane tanks aren't rusted or dented. If they are then replace them straight away.
G Is for Goodnight, Grill
Where are you going to "put your grill to bed"? A fixed outdoor grill is, of course, going to stay just where it is, and you can keep the propane tank in its usual place and connected. You will want to put a protective cover over the grill. If you keep your grill inside in the winter, you must disconnect the propane tank and leave it - upright -outside.
Check the owner's manual so you know how to properly disconnect the tank. Tape plastic bags over the gas line openings of the grill to keep bugs away, and make sure the tank is stored in a shady, cool place - away from children's and pet's play areas, and away from dryer and furnace vents.
H Is for Happy
This is what you'll be by the time spring comes and you want to get grilling again. You'll be all ready to go.

New Weber BBQ parts and additional tools for grilling can prolong the life of most past and present makes of Weber grill. Accessories and tools can provide inspiration for new ways to cook with a barbecue, apart from the traditional method. Replacement and additional components can be found easily for gas or charcoal grills in many areas.
The Weber charcoal barbecue has changed little since the early models of last century. Replacement parts, such as wheels and grilling racks, can easily be purchased to extend the life of barbecues. An older model of the charcoal Weber barbecue may require new six inch wheels so that it can continue to be portable and easy to move from one place or another in a garden or patio as well as into storage during the months it is not being used.
A new grill rack to hold charcoal or a cooking grate for a charcoal griller can be purchased for most of the sizes Weber has manufactured in the past. New racks should be considered if rust or other damage has made the originals no longer suitable for cooking. If considering a new cooking grate, a hinged variety is also available, which can make adding additional fuel easier while cooking.
New parts, such as a charcoal fuel rail make it possible to cook in different ways in the barbecue. Fuel rails hold burning charcoal in one area of the barbecue so that indirect heat can cook foods, such as poultry. Foods cooked with indirect heat are baked rather than grilled.
Weber gas barbecues may need new parts in order to keep working well after frequent regular use. Sometimes the system which ignites the gas of barbecues becomes worn or damaged and should be changed. Tubes which feed gas from the cannister to burners may become clogged or worn after years of use and new tubes should replace them.
If your barbecue is not already fitted with a thermometer or thermostat an additional thermometer may be a useful tool. A probe thermometer can help with the roasting of large meat cuts as well as chickens and other poultry by telling you the internal temperature of foods. A roast chicken, for example, should always measure 180 degrees Fahrenheit inside to be considered cooked without risk of food poisoning.
Griddles, roasting racks and rotisseries can increase the cook's repertoire of barbecued dishes. Pancakes, griddle cakes as well as flat breads can be made with a griddle. There are an assortment of roasting racks for a variety of meats, like ribs, roasts and chicken as well as kabob skewers. Roasting pans can be used for making baked pasta dishes or cakes.
It is important to keep a barbecue clean between uses and at the end of the grilling season. Tools such as steel brushes and scrapers can prevent rust in grates and grilling racks, making these pieces last longer. Keeping the barbecue protected with one of the covers specifically made for your model will prevent the barbecue from being damaged in changing seasons or bad weather.
There are wealth of replacement Weber BBQ parts as well as components and equipment which can be added to both past and present models of grillers. These parts are useful for the maintenance and function of the barbecue as well as extending the possible uses a cook may imagine. The more equipment and tools used the further uses there are for a barbecue, which could become the primary cooking method in the summer months.

A grill can be an expensive investment. You can go with grills that are around twenty dollars all the way up to grills that cost four hundred or more. The grills range from gas to charcoal and even infrared cooking. One way to protect that investment is to us a Weber charbroil grill cover. This will help to stop the elements from wreaking havoc on your grill.
Knowing what type of grill you have is the first place to start in your search for a cover. The sizes and styles are very different. Purchasing a cover is a great way to protect your investment.
The gas grill is one of the most expensive grills out there. These can have all sorts of extra gadgets and things to help making your grilling easier. There is an option of buying the premium cover for a Genesis E or S series grills. With a fitted center and long sides, this helps to cover the entire grill. The can cost anywhere from forty five dollars and up. Another option of covers fits the Spirit series two or three hundred grill.
The charcoal grills, as well as their covers, are cheaper than the gas options. They range in the twenty to forty dollar range for a cover. One type cover is the premium cover for the twenty two and a half inch grill. The black cover will help to mesh with any backyard decor. Yet another cover option is the performer cover. It is a full length cover with heavy duty fabric.
The question is often asked why use a grill cover in the first place. Water from a rain shower or even dew can cause moisture problems with your grill. The cover will help to keep the moisture from getting in. Another possible issue could be critters getting into your grill. The covers helps with keeping your grill and your utensils clean and safe.
There are covers that come with vents made into them. That is the air can circulate and the moisture allowed to dry out. Consider the climate you live in. If you are in a milder area, with only slight changes in weather, a light cloth cover is all you really need. Others who live in areas with more severe climate changes will need a more heavy duty, heavy weighted cover.
Black is the most popular color option for the cover. Sometimes you may be able to find other colors such as tan. Be aware the black will show the pollen and dust or dirt. This is easily washed off of the vinyl covers.
Prolonging the life of your grill is easier to do when using a grill cover. This can help to save you money and time when your grill is working in proper order. The elements can wreak havoc on your grill causing parts and even the grill to need replacing. Measure your grill before looking for a cover to insure the proper fit.

There are different party themes you may use to create a beautiful outdoor party. Look through the list below and see which one will fit best the personalities of the people that are going to attend your outdoor party.
Barbeque Party Hosting a barbeque party is a great way to put everyone at ease. There is something so casual with barbeque that automatically makes people comfortable. I would encourage you to practice due diligence and check your barbeque supplies before the party to make sure that everything is working perfectly before the party. Members mark grill parts is a great source of grill parts if you ever need one.
Pool or Beach Party This is really not a unique concept but you can most certainly give it a unique twist. Start with the invitation. Attach a pair of sunglasses and sunblock when you give it out to your guest. The details of the party may be found on the label of the sunblock. Having a pool is necessity but you can put several children's pool with lots of ice to chill drinks. Use beach pail as utensil holders at every table. You can do more activities like water balloon fight, bubble blowing, sand castle game, and others.
Outdoor Music Just because you are outdoors doesn't mean you can't enjoy music. Put some speakers around the garden and have a remote control handy so you can enjoy any music that you want. Make sure you have a wide selection so you can respond to guests' request. This is really perfect for your barbeque parties. I suggest that you check out the members mark grill for your barbeque party needs.
Pick Up Party Tell your friends that when and where the party is going to be will be unannounced and you will just show up in their house to pick them up as they are. They cannot dress, cannot take a bath, cannot fix themselves up. They will proceed to the party with you how you found them. The one thing that is exciting is seeing everyone in their most unguarded moments.

Before you even decide on what kind of party games you will for your party, decide on the theme first. If your theme is futuristic, it wouldn't make sense to do some historical games right?
Food These are kids, prepare food that they will like. This is party, they can have some "fun" food this time. Ice cream, cake, barbeque, chips, burger, and other food that you know kids go for when they are out in the mall. Serve it there and the kids will surely not have enough. You can even stylize you food. For example, you can serve them some toasted bread done in the Mickey Mouse Toaster.
There is something else that I suggest you do. As much as possible, prepare your menu ahead and send it to parents. This way, the parents will be warned if you have something in your menu that their children cannot eat either because they have allergies or parents simply don't like their kids eating it. Inform the parents they can write you back and you will try to adjust as much as they can.
Honey Dough Recipe Why not allow the kids to make their own dough. They can decorate them and eat them when they are done. Prepare: Ingredients: * Half cup of smooth peanut butter *Quarter cup of honey * Half cup instant nonfat dry milk powder Just mix all the ingredients to form a soft dough, ask the kids to shape it all they want. Prepare some marshmallow, raisins, chips, sprinkles, gummy and other stuff they can put on top. That is it, they can eat it when they are done.
Life Size Artwork Prepare a giant canvass and small ones too. Prepare some washable paint, enough paint brush or spray. You can also prepare some plastic jumpers so they don't get the paint on their clothes when they work. Ask them to paint to their heart's content.
Also, do not ignore the food. I would suggest that even if you serve the "usual" party menu, try to perk up the food a bit by giving it a twist. You can serve them some toasted bread, for example, but done in the Mickey Mouse Toaster.
