Bonsai Supplies
Their are a number of Bonsai Supplies that you will need to care for your Indoor Bonsai that include a Bonsai Tool Set, proper Bonsai Wiring, Bonsai Pots and Bonsai Soil.
When choosing Bonsai Wiring be sure to select the size best for your Indoor Bonsai. To determine which size is best simply select the wire that is appromimately 1/3 the size of the trunk or primary branch that you are bending. The type of wire that you should choose is anodised aluminium, and avoid the copper type. Copper is more difficult to bend and will requires the use of other tools, and place greater risk of causing damage or stress to your Indoor Bonsai, especially for beginners.
As for Bonsai Soil you can make your own blend of Bonsai Soil by combining one part loam, two parts sphagnum peat moss, and two parts granite grit or you can purchase special mixed Bonsai Soil from a number of suppliers. Some store bought Indoor Bonsai are only potted in a peat moss mix that is used for regular house plants. This type of mixture holds far too much water and should be swapped out during your re-potting.
